The Kansai Electric Power building

An interactive illumination system placed on the top of the head office of the Kansai Electric Power Co., Inc. at Nakanoshima, Osaka. This newly invented urban illumination system shows environmental data in real time. The light changes when the wind alters its direction. GK Tech was engaged in the engineering and programming of this system. This project won the Design Award for Light and Lighting 2006 as a model of a corporation appealing for harmony with the environment.
