An experimental spatial creation in which elements, the environment and humans interact in a playful manner. GK Tech has created a series of “Neural Objects” as experimental objects to enjoy the interaction of tools and humans. They are created with the basic concept of the flexibility that living things have to cooperate with others while maintaining their autonomy. One “Neural Object” incites another applying a different technology. Here, “Photophilous Beetle” and “Footsteps“ are integrated to construct a mechanism in which different tools interact. The mechanism interacts with the environment in which it is installed. When humans interact with the environment, then, a new relationship between tools and humans symbolically emerges. The light of “Footsteps” resonates with the movement of “Photophilous Beetle”. Hence the title of Optic Play.
