		“KOMAKO” shochu bottle
Kikkoman Corporation
This bottle of Komako, named after a character in Yasunari Kawabata’s novel “Snow Country” , recalls the slender figure of a beautiful woman in an ukiyo-e print. It became possible to produce this charming shape, reminiscent of traditional Japanese beauty, after a variety of problems in the high-grade mass production of bottles had been solved.
