“Yurikamome New 7300” car body system
Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Ltd.
GK designed a train car body with a medium capacity for urban transit systems for Mitsubishi Heavy Industries. The new train body model was introduced by Tokyo Waterfront New Transit Yurikamome connecting Shimbashi and Toyosu at the occasion of the plan to replace its trains. All possible devices were applied to lighten the body and to offer comfort to passengers by using aluminum bodies and applying resin mold injection for the core of high back bucket seats, the first case in Japan for the railway train.
