“Urbanismo”
high speed AGT
Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Ltd.
Vehicles for a new high speed transportation system which is able to run at the maximum speed of 120km/h, about double the speed of the conventional system. The capsule form was chosen to give a feel of high speed while maintaining Mitsubishi’s product identity developed since the Crystal Mover. At the front, viewing seats are placed to help passengers enjoy the passing landscapes through glass windows. As the seat for an urban transportation system, the “G-Fit” seat is applied. This seat was designed by Mitsubishi Industries and GK Design SOKEN Hirohima with the dual aims of helping passengers to maintain a good sitting posture and improving passengers’ manners.
