Glass roofed benches for players were installed in all 12 soccer stadiums in the FIFA World Cup 2014 in Brazil. Strong chemically reinforced glass is used for the roof which gives higher transparency and stronger against damage than the conventional polycarbonate roof. The FRP frame becomes thinner toward the ends, giving a light rhythmic feeling. The material for the seats is also transparent to allow spectators to see the players better. As a whole, it gives a transparent impression.
