For one of its approaches, the renewal work was done, on the exterior and interior design of the new next type version of the car 3000 series, and the coloring of all trains after a half-century. The design concept was “up to date Furyu.” It is taking a role of nurturing the local culture connecting Osaka and Kyoto. Further, trying to create the consistent design from comprehensive views such as the signage of the station building (name of stations, directories, timetable, information), street furniture (the bench, the trash can, equipment) .
