We designed the interior and exterior of the two trains coproduced by Kyoto Prefecture and WILLER TRAINS Inc. (Kyoto Tango Railway) and their PR tools.  As a part of the effort for “Another Kyoto,” a project to attract tourists and develop the area promoted by Kyoto Prefecture, we highlighted the attractiveness of “UMI no Kyoto (Seaside Kyoto),” the northern region of Kyoto which faces the Sea of Japan.  We incorporated colors and motifs inspired by nature, lifestyle, food, and traditional crafts within the region along the railroad for the design with fine grade and dignity.  GK Kyoto has been working on branding design as a member of this project since 2013.
