Design related 19 people from Taiwan, Industrial Development Bureau Ministry of Economic Affairs headed by Ph.D. Mr. Ming-Ji, Wu, Director General, and Mr. Lin, Pi-yu, Director, visited GK.
After GK had introduced its history over sixty years and the idea of design practice, recent design cases and trend in Japan, the group, and GK exchanged vivid discussion about the future of design in both nations.
Also, Mr. Kazuo Tanaka, president of GK Design Group, was requested by Taiwan Design Center to be an overseas design adviser. Mr. Shin-Bou, Lin, CEO of Taiwan Design Center, delivered the letter of commission then.
