The Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake Memorial Disaster Reduction and Human Renovation Institution in Kobe is a research and education institute for disaster prevention which was established after the Great Earthquake in 1995. We participated in the renewal project of BOSAI Science Field, an exhibition space in the East Wing. The purpose of this institution is to learn the mechanisms of natural disasters and disaster prevention through experience. GK Tech worked from the planning competition phase to production of exhibited contents.

〈WEATHER WALK〉 changes the position and intensity of high-pressure area according to the movement of human body to create the path for a typhoon. This hands-on display lets people understand how air flows and high pressures affect the movement of typhoons.
