HARMO is proposed as a new platform that unifies electrical propulsion unit and steering system, aiming to provide Smart Package boats, which intuitive controllability and low-noise operation unique to electric motors ensure the comfort of passengers. Started in August 2020, demonstration run by the boats equipped with HARMO have been conducted by the Otaru Canal Cruise in Hokkaido. GK Kyoto designed the styles of the electrical propulsion unit and controlling equipment as well as product name and logotype.
