Digital Ticket Service MOBIRY is the first MaaS effort by Hiroshima Electric Railway in Hiroshima area, which enables users to buy and use train tickets via smartphone. GK Design Soken Hiroshima named the facility, designed the symbol mark, and supervised the screen design for the smartphone app. MOBIRY is a portmanteau word made by combining “mobility/mo-bile” and “carry,” and its symbol mark is a combination of “M” the initial letter of the service and wheels that represent vehicles, which indicates the joy of transpor-tation.
