GK Kyoto designed this salon for boat owners at Yokohama Bayside Marina, one of the largest marinas in Japan. The marina is easily accessible from the Tokyo Metropolitan area and offers services such as a salon exclusively for ship owners and marine activity facilities such as rental boats. The first floor has a lobby with a refreshing and luxe marine image, with dark blue as an accent color and lighting that creates movement of light like that on the surface of the water or sails. In the salon and terrace overlooking the marina on the second floor, we created a calm space where the customers enjoy time away from the hustle and bustle of Tokyo by taking advantage of the natural texture of wood and stone.
