Signage for Shinagawa Season Terrace
NTT Urban Development, Taisei Corp., and NTT Facilities
Sign system for a large-scale complex construction project with the theme of environmental compatibility. The Shinagawa Season Terrace comprises office floors employing the highest-level environmentally friendly components, a commercial zone and an adjacent 3.5 ha-wide green space. Themes for the sign design were to “give comfortable accents” and to “incorporate surrounding environmental factors” in order to enhance the features of the complex. Simple, high-quality signboards that are cohesive with the architectural design were sought in the design of signs for the external elements and atrium. For the commercial space which leads to the green space outside and consists of various types of shops, we sought sign designs clearly reflecting the spatial features, facilities and functions of that area of the complex.
