“Manpack” 1 liter Soy Sauce
Kikkoman Corporation
The emergence of a new package influences whole processes range from production to consumption. “Kikkoman Manpack” represents the processes. The package was made from transparent PVC in early stage. As consuming period of a bottle of soy sauce became short, tasty soy sauce always could be used, and the convenience of use on the table was added. This was the harbinger of small, light, and no retrieval package. Sales of Manpack expanded to super markets in growing trend, and the cost of container, wrapping, freight and the retrieval of containers were largely reduced. Manpack played the leading role of the trend “from glass bottle to plastic bottle” at that time. (Gra)
