The P-Room-Salon this time had a lecture meeting, promoted by GK Industrial Design, having Messrs. Shunsuke Aoki, CEO, and Yutaka MIzuochi, Designer of YUKAI Engineering. Inc., titled as “The Future of Home User Interface Turns into a Robot.”
In the first half of the meeting; Mr. Aoki made a presentation on the cushion type therapy robot “Qoobo” and the communication robot “BOCCO.” He explained about the story ranging from planning and development, making business to the recent development trend. In the second half, the designer Mr. Mizuochi told about the production process of the two robots. In the question and answer session, the other four members of the company joined, and vigorous discussion with GK members took place.

2015 Assumed the position of the jury of 2015 Good Design Award. Nakaya has also been engaging in the position of a curator of “Mokuyo Shinbijutsukan (Thursday New Art Museum)” of WEB TV intending to fuse art and technologies.

2014 Left the company to study product design.
