We held P-room Salon by inviting Mr. Yasumi Sone who is one of the founders of GK. He started his talk with the history of his upbringing and went on up to the day being admitted to Tokyo University of the Arts. It continued with other stories like coming across with friends at the University, the discontent mind against the university’s conservative educational policy, the awakening to “design” a new genre of the times and so forth. Also, Mr. Sone told about the era in that GK had grown from a group to a company in addition to Prof. Koike’s suggestion on the spiritual nature of design and the exchange with those unique operators of the clients.
