広島市中心部より新興住宅地（西風新都）への18.4キロを走るゴムタイヤ、コンピュータ制御の新交通システム。
6年にわたるトータルデザイン計画ののち、クロムイエローをシンボルカラーとする広島の新しい顔が誕生した。

The trains on this new transit system spanning 18.4 kilometers between central Hiroshima and a new
residential community (Seifu-Shinto) are computer controlled and have rubber tires. During the system's six-year
total design period, the birth of its trademark chrome yellow color gave Hiroshima a new face.
