Designing the Quietness - Contemporary Finnish Design

Friday, October 10 - Tuesday, October 28

Venue: Living Design Center OZONE (Park Tower Hall)

The Q exhibition: The exhibition Q presents the past, present and future of Finnish design. It looks at contemporary Finnish design from a fresh perspective and creates a strong experience of the theme quietness conveying the emotional, intuitive, multi-sensory and intellectual qualities of Finnish design, architecture and art.

Feel Finland: The exhibition Q is a part of a larger event presenting Finnish culture, art and science to the Japanese public during autumn 2003. The Feel Finland event, organised by the Finnish Institute in Japan in co-operation with the Embassy of Finland in Japan, is a unique communication and marketing campaign promoting Finnish excellence and providing an opportunity for genuine cross-cultural dialogue. The Q exhibition is one of the main events of Feel Finland. President of the Republic of Finland Tarja Halonen is the official patron of Feel Finland. The main sponsor of the Feel Finland event is Nokia.
