Until that time, dried laver was sold by just bundled or in a rectangular tin can, the company changed the style of packaging to a cylindrical can. A cylindrical can is easier for mass production and has better airtightness than a rectangular one, and good for merchandise control. The design easily recognized at a glance and worked well for mass exhibit played a significant role for the nation wide development of sales spots.
