EXPO’70 Osaka held in Osaka in 1970 lifted the curtain of 70s. The exposition became momentum of tremendous change in Japan such as full opening of Tokaido Shinkansen (bullet train) line.
While many objects and departments came to join to implement the project, the estab­lishment of a methodology and a process of it was required. Therefore EXP0’70 Osaka became a best ever opportunity being recognized and establishing a new design realm.
