*The project was completed in 1998, with a plan developed for Kagura Monzen Toji Village in later years.

Under the theme of kagura (a form of sacred music and dancing for which this area is renowned), this park is intended to promote exchange among cities and revitalize the region. The town's special charms and characteristics were studied over a five-year period of project development and design. The Kagura Hall, event plaza, hot springs, and lodging facilities take the visitor on a nostalgic trip to ancient Japan.
