Awarded the Highest Award and the Outstanding Award of The Civil Engineering Design Prize Year 2008
The Design Award of Landscape Design Committee of the Civil Engineering is awarded to a person (and major people concerned) who largely contribute to a work created an excellent landscape, and an organization supported those people. Since the award was set in 2001, 74 works have been awarded.
The Civil Engineering Design Prize Year 2008 were awarded; the Highest Award to the Toyama Light Rail Transit, for which the total design was conducted by GK Sekkei, GK Industrial Design, GK Design Soken Hiroshima, and Outstanding Award to the Numazu Station North Entrance Plaza on which GK Sekkei took a role of overall project management, landscape design and facility design.
