Royal College of Art students’ group of Global Innovation Design program visit GK.
On June 24, a group of students of Royal College of Art visited our office. The group, consists of twelve students, are on the roll of Global Innovation Design Program. Their visit created a precious session for both the students and GK members in exchanging thoughts on innovative design. The session began with Mr. Ekuan’s brief lecture, about the way of Japanese design synthesizing traditional culture and today’s advanced technologies, developed into nine students' presentations of his/her current tackling projects. GK then held presentations of GK Group by GK Design Inc., and three group companies of GK Tech, GK Dynamics and GK Industrial Design introducing an advanced case from each professional realm. The presentations were followed by a lively discussion about the design with global views. The discussion created a valuable platform for both RCA group and GK with much updated stimulation.
