Doctor Michael Erlhoff is one of the editors of "Design Dictionary" (Translated by GK Design Group and published by Kajima Institute Publishing Co. on December 5th)
In the edition, nearly two hundred authors freely discusses so many kinds of topics beyond conventional categories ranging from the history, philosophy, methodology of design to the expanding spectrum of design centered by the keyword "design." The dictionary shows much interesting issues by reflecting ever important many social aspects such as daily life, global environment and so on.
In the lecture, while referring to "Design Dictionary," he had lectured about the way of future design should be. Also we could get deeply suggestive opinions of Ms. Uta Brandes, Dr. Arlhoff’s wife attended the session.

Dr. Michael Erlhoff earned his Ph.D. (Dr. phil) in German Literature and Sociology. President of German Design Council, Founding President of the Raymond Loewy Foundation, Founding Dean of the Koln International School of Design, among others guest professor in Hong Kong, Tokyo, Taipei, and author of numerous books on design, art, and culture. He is professor of Kőln International School of Design. Author and design Consultant.
